Jupiters Transit Predictions for 2010

Jupiter (Guru) is a benevolent planet and is the Lord of northeast, presided over by the primary element Water. Jupiter is a planet of growth, development and improvement. Transiting over the right Houses, Jupiter makes you wiser and successful and those in authority take the right decisions in relation to the development of their family, business, their state and their nation.

Transit Jupiter (Guru) enters into Aquarius (Kumbha) on 19th December at 11.30 in the night. This means that he will be coming out of his weakness, and for compatible astrological signs this can be very favourably inclined. He will be in this sign up to May 2nd 2010 after which he will move to Pisces, his own House, and get back for a month to Aquarius on November 1, 2010. On December 6, 2010 he again goes back to Pisces.

Though the natal horoscope is important with respect to the planetary positions, which determine the moon sign for an individual, planetary transits are significant too with respect to the current directional strengths reflected in one’s horoscope.

Given below are the broad indications for the period up to 2nd May 2010 and the recommended actions to minimise the weaknesses and maximise the strengths of the transit.

Jupiter’s blessings can be gained by visiting the shrine Thiru Alangudi in Tamil Nadu, about 20 km from the temple city of Kumbakonam. This place, also called ‘Parihara Sthalam,’ has Jupiter worshipped as Dakshinamurthi. Tradition says that the worship of Dakshinamurthy in this shrine confers longevity, progeny, fame and wealth. The following Jupiter mantra repeated for 1008 times in this sacred shrine can indeed act as a metaphysical protective armour against the benefic planet’s maleficence.

Devanam cha rishinam cha Gurum kaanchana Sannibhaam |

Buddhi bhutam Trilokesham tam namaami Brihaspatim ||

We have used the word indicative since the above observations are based on only one transit.  When bad indications are there, it means that we take the necessary caution in whatever we do. Think several times and then take a decision. Recommended actions suggested above can also help in minimising the negative impacts of the transit. For a month, Jupiter is too close to Sun (15th February 2010 to 15th March 2010), during which time decisions, perceptions and inferences may go off the track. February 28th (when the proximity is in the nabhi of the sign) is the day when decision makers have to take extra caution.

India in 2010

Dear friends,

As the New Year breaks out, we are about to see India in 2010. Very few astrologers in India can do a yearly prediction today. I have been doing this from the year 2002.

It is the Sun Dasha opening up for India and of course India will be going through the Moon Bhukthi, which has started from 27-12-2009 and extends up till 28-6-2010. Secondly, the Mars period will be till the 4-11-2010 and then Rahu period will begin.

In the Tajika chart, it is Meena Lagna and the chart is as follows:

First Moon is with Ketu in the Navamsha. Whenever a planet is with Rahu or Ketu, that bhukthi does not extend very well.

1. Relationships with Pakistan.

There will be no war. However, there will be a small war in the border. The training of militants and denial proof by India will be a common pattern. There will no concrete action against the December 11th, 2008 attack on Mumbai. As usual, infiltration and encounters will be common. When the Mars bhukthi begins, more blood will be spilt in Kashmir and in other areas, which will be after 28-6-2010. Some form of attacks on schools is also possible.

2. The Central Government.

With the majority in the centre, it would be another year of smooth sailing. The twitter minister should be careful as he can lose his job. Rahul Gandhi will make inroads and will try to improve the Congress in many ways. Naxals and Maoists will be a pain for the government.

3. Prices.

Prices of essential commodities will shoot up. Someone called me and asked me whether sugar prices will go up. I said that it can touch Rs.50. Due to all the fabrication of the statistics on inflation, the prices of essential commodities will go up by 25%, easily. Sharad Pawar will become a billionaire. The price of dal, rice, pulses, wheat and oil will go up. Also, the prices of petrol will be hiked after the month of June, 2010. You can expect to pay more for the same commodity. Of course, Rahu in the House of Food, in the Indian horoscope, is a very good indicator for the rising prices. Price fluctuations can be seen in the next 4 months and then it will get better.

4. Stock markets.

The Indian market will be very attractive. Secondly, the growth will be between 7 to 8 percent and in some months it can even reach 9%. India is hungry for growth; therefore one can expect the market to reflect these trends. Easily, the market will cross over 18,000 points before February end, 19,000 before April end and a good chance for it to touch 20,000 before the year end. Of course, there will be corrections. Car sales will zoom, and most auto companies will do well.

5. Lifestyle and Work.

The number of Indians opting for air travel will increase. Hiring will increase in IT companies and in all other sectors in India. Many people working in the IT industry will suffer from diseases related to their lifestyle like Diabetes, Blood Pressure, etc. The travel industry which includes hotels, airlines, trains, buses and auto transport will go through an upswing.

6. Sales.

Truck sales will be high, but below the figures of December. Many of the retail chains will do well, this year.

7. Gold, Currency and Garments.

Gold will cross over 19,000 per ten grams. India Inc. will go through positive swings and reach record outputs. Gold and currency reserve will be high. Indian currency will gain strength and will be very strong over the Dollar. Gold making and jewellery units will do well. The garment industry will be better, as compared to last year.

8. Growth Trend.

The government will spend more money on infrastructure projects. Indian sports like shooting, tennis, wrestling, swimming and chess will do well. Indian cricket could reach top spots. In general, Dhoni’s men will have a better time. On the whole, India will be already off recession. It will start booming faster. With more Indians returning from abroad, this will be a very common trend. Many people from USA and UK could come back to India.

9. Education and Career.

Many corporate companies will increase their presence in school and college segments. Internet penetration and usage will triple along with online, e-commerce sales and referrals in a big way.

10. Entertainment and Climate.

The movie industry will have better time. Bigger budget movies will be aimed and small films will do really well. The west and south side of India will do well. Mass death due to bad weather, to the tune of 100 – 200 people, will be there.

As such India will have a positive and good year.

Tarot and Manifestation

Most of us know what manifestation is. But I am not sure how many of us have thought about how Tarot can help us with it. In this post, I would like to share with you how the two of these can be clubbed together, beautifully, for the process of manifestation. Let me just run by the basics of manifestation before I get to the part about the cards.

Anyone who has read ‘The Secret’ knows how it’s done. But let me just run by the steps one more time:

A: You decide on something that you would like to manifest in your life, for sure. Know that there is no doubt about this.

B: Start to visualize this thing in as much detail as you can. Fill out every detail that comes to you naturally. Know that your feelings are the most important thing here. The happier you are about the thing you want, the more chance there is that it will come.

C: Start believing you already have it and also start to live like that. One way to do that is work with affirmations, as well.

Now to tell you how the Tarot cards fit in..! When you have decided what you want, you need to take a moment to determine what it will take, according to you, to bring it into your life.

Example: If I want a legal matter to get sorted out fairly and justly, I would require the power of fairness on my side. The card that I would take help from for this case will be the Major Arcane card of Justice which is No.11. This is a card that is known to deal with legal problems, beautifully. If this comes up in a reading, it denotes some movement in that direction, be it positive or negative, depending on the Placing. So we will use this card, as an example to understand what we can do with it to increase the power of our manifestation.

To start with, the easiest way to work the cards energies into your manifestation, just keep it with you, as much as you can. On your person, in the pocket or bag, on your alter or place of daily prayer. The basic idea is to have it with you as much as you can, to remind you that it is working for you. The more you look at it, and see the legal concern solved well in your favor, it shall be so. Another way is to keep it under the pillow, when you sleep at night, and looking at it before you sleep and as soon as you wake up.

But before you start with any of these methods, it is very important to tell the card what you need it to do for you. This is called attuning. To attune your card, just hold it in your right hand. Then tap it 3 times with your left hand and cover it with your entire left palm. As you do this, either aloud or in your heart, tell the card what it is that you are looking for. This does not have to be a specific kind of language, just something that comes from deep within yourself. Remember to be as specific as possible when you make your wish known, add as much detail as you can and remember to feel happy about it. Then you can use the card as you like it, to increase the energy it gives you.

Finally, there are a few things that I would like to inform you about, that you should keep in mind when you do a manifestation.

Whatever it is that you wish for, know that it is not right to change how another feels about anything or even their future.

E.g.: “I want to win this court case.” is correct, but “I would like to see that I win this court case and that XYZ is in prison after that.” is a false manifestation. You leave the decision upon the judge.

Not everything you wish for comes true. There are a few reasons for it, namely, mid-way you will think this is a stupid thing to do and stop doing it. Another reason can be that it is not what you really want, but have become influenced with other things/ people and decided you do, as soon as your emotions are not happy. If you know that it is not happening, go back to the place you were happy and it will be easier.

In the next post I shall discuss, which card can be used for what specific manifestations. I shall also add various other additions and talk about the emotional input in detail.

Hope this has helped…

Blessed be

Much love, light and magick.

What can you expect in the Economy in 2010? – An Astro-Numerological Analysis

Dear friends I am sure you must be wondering on what would be the kind of economy we could expect in year 2010?

In fact we had made a prediction regarding the economy coming up by year ending 2009, which has come true as per president Obama’s declaration that now the slow-down has stopped. This is the power of simple astro-numerology, to make predictions with the simple tools of numbers and planets instead of heavy mathematics. However, the latter could also be used.

Year 2010 – Numerological Perspective:

Let us analyze year 2010:-

2010 = 2+0+1+0 = 3 = JUPITER

2010, is pronounced as two thousand and ten. So it is 2000 + 10.

So looking at number 10, though 1+0 =1 = SUN, but ending of 10 with 0 (URANUS and SATURN both) makes things a bit tough at times.

Due to Saturn and especially Uranus, one could expect sudden reversals in the market. It also gives one victory after a fight, but victory is present due to JUPITER. As JUPITER is responsible for expansion and karaka for money, one could expect growth of money flow. We have started feeling the good effects of JUPITER in the economy since the ending of 2009.

Year 2010 Astrological Perspective:

Based on Varshphal calculations/considerations:-

JUPITER helps the House 1 = body/ that is the structure of economy.

It also helps the 4th House = Home affairs.

As JUPITER enters Aquarius in December, the 3rd House, it aspects the 9th House (Bhagya), 7th House (Relationships) and also the 11th House (Money/ gains). Though it is a bit weak, it would still give new relationships (business deals, helping economy), growth to initiatives (3rd House) and abundance as it aspects the House of Luck (9th) and Gains (11th).

However, the measure might not be that pronounced as Jupiter might not be very strong as such.

In the 2nd quarter, Jupiter gets in Pisces (4th House). Aspects 8/10 and the 12th House.

Since Jupiter is getting stronger, expect growth in family activities/ busying of houses (due to effect of House number 4), expansion and increase in actions due to effect on House number 10.

Gains can also come from foreign lands due to its aspect to the 12th House. Information technology and foreign trade all over could get a boost.

Looking at the trouble gives SATURN, which is in Virgo (10th House), it is slowly getting stronger.

Also SATURN rules 2/ 3 House. So despite obstacles and ego issues, slowly, ventures would grow. The wealth flow and status of the society would improve.

Conclusion:

Overall both numerology and astrology support growth trends, baring the initial delays caused by Saturn due its rule over the 3rd House and impacting profession. That is the ‘0’ (ZERO) in 2010 could cause sudden problems and delays, but all-in-all, improvements could be expected.

Wishing you all the best in 2010.

VASTUSHASTRA

The existence of the universe is based on the five basic elements of ‘sky’, ‘wind’, ‘fire’, ‘water’ and ‘soil’. These five elements have to be balanced in our home too. This very art and science of balancing and enhancing these five elements in a dwelling, forms the basis of ‘Vastushastra’.

When first selecting the piece of land where a structure will stand, an expert in ‘vastushastra’ can guide to bring about the best potential in the persons who will work or live there. This is of primary importance and proves to be very beneficial.

For the balance and optimum flow of positive energy, the building should be constructed according to certain natural laws. Just as in the human body, all the parts and organs should be in the proper proportion to one another, in order to correctly perform their functions. A structure that is incorrectly built bring imbalance and lack of harmony in the lives of the people who live or work in it.

At the beginning if the structure is built according to the laws of ‘Vastushastra’ it saves the trouble of trying to make corrections later on, which are often very difficult.

Ancient ‘vastushastra’ considers the surrounding topography, to define the kind, and direction of positive energy flow. Here we consider mountains, rivers, valleys, sloping land, etc. These have been formed in their respective places due to certain laws, as we read in the annals of geology, and geography.

There are eight directions in all, which are basically considered. The four basic ones are – North, South, East, and West. And the four sub-directions are North-east, North-west, South-east, and South-west.

The East is considered the direction of the male member, of father figure of the house.

The South-east is the direction that influences health of the members living or working in the place.

The South represents wealth, a good harvest, happiness and peace.

The West is the direction for growth, progress, and fame.

The South-west stands for birth and death.

The North-west represents business, work, friends and enemies.

The North direction is the direction of the mother, or motherly figure of the inhabitants of the place.

The North-east direction represents the new generation or new members in the group.

The place where two directions meet is called a corner. It influences the elements of both the meeting directions. So if a corner is missing or cut during designing, it creates major problems in those areas of the lives of people living or working in the structure.

When buying a land, always prefer the one lying on the North or East of the present place of dwelling. If you can buy a land to the North-east, do not worry about how much you pay for it, it will prove to be extremely lucky to you.

The height and slope of our home or workplace influences our luck. This must be correct according to specific directions. The land or place that has a downward slope towards the North, and East, will bestow innumerable pieces of good luck. If the West and South are at a higher level, life will be rewarding. People living in such places accomplish big deeds without great effort.

NOTE:

The North-east is considered the most important direction, and must be enhanced correctly when building a structure. Heavy objects and obstructions are like putting heavy burdens on the life of people living in it.

When sleeping, the head must be towards the South.

Do not place pictures of wild animals, or battle scenes in the house.

Large trees should ideally be towards the South.

Tarot and Consciousness

One of the reasons why I love Tarot is because it shows things that I may be blind to within. It has the ability to pin-point a quality, attitude or a tendency in me which needs changing, if I want a happy outcome. And somewhere, it helps pave my path to be a better human being.

Behavior patterns are something few of us can avoid. Time and time again, we all find ourselves in the same loop, repeating a pattern that’s vaguely familiar and the ending somewhat dismal. Like a woman who keeps falling for unavailable men. Or a man who never asserts himself at his job and constantly feels undervalued. Or a mother-in-law who represses her feelings around her family, leading to loneliness, misery and a familiar sense of confusion.

And then sometimes, after it happens again and again, our hearts refuse to break any longer. And instead asks us to take responsibility for our lives, our feelings and our relationships, forcing us to see where we can change from within; without blaming anyone, without feeling punished by the Divine powers and without feeling like a victim.

Change becomes possible when we become conscious. Consciousness is available to all of us, at any point of time. It’s that voice within that says “Enough is enough, let’s see what I can do to make things better”

Meditation is the best route to self-awareness. The Tarot is an expression of meditation. It picks up the energies around us and illustrates what it is that we need to learn, understand and absorb, if we want to break free of a pattern that’s causing more harm than happiness in our lives.

Try asking “What do I need to understand, if I want happiness in my relationship”, and then see what the cards say.

Significance of Transit of Saturn for the World

The analysis of effects of powerful planets on world level can be done only on routine basis. No horoscopes are available for closer analysis of world situations. In the system of Vedic Astrology, the horoscope of “Kaal Purusha” (time personified) is sometimes taken as a basis for astrological analysis. In this horoscope, Aries makes the 1st House and Leo, the 5th House. The area covered by the 5th House is the heart of the “Kaal Purusha”, which is the most vital organ of the body.

The 5th House is significant for stock market conditions, financial markets, speculative markets, entertainment industries, political situation and general conditions of the economy. The owner of this House is the Sun. The Sun is the ruler of the planetary kingdom.

Saturn moved into the House owned by the Sun, about two and half years ago, and transited out from this House on 9th September 2009. The stay of Saturn in Leo was not comfortable because the relationship between Sun and Saturn is not compatible. Both are powerful and fiery planets, and the world experienced the fury of this uncomfortable stay of Saturn in the Leo sign during the last two and half years.

We can give some examples of its effects that were recorded during the period of stay of Saturn in Leo, which are of particular significance.

a) The problems in the mortgage markets of USA started surfacing slowly during this period. The objectionable methods and arrogant functioning of financial institutions and banks led to the collapse of the world financial system, which was the vital economic system of the world. The problem created by developed nations engulfed the entire globe. The world economy plunged into recession. Many banks went bankrupt. The world is still recovering from the wrongdoings and arrogant practices of banks and financial institutions of the developed countries. Is the present condition a punishment from the divine for arrogance?

b) After the collapse of the Soviet Union, USA is the only superpower of the world. Its actions in Iraq invited criticism. The pent-up feelings of the Muslim world was visible when the then American president George W. Bush was addressing a press conference at Baghdad on 14th December 2008 and Muntadar Al- Zaidi, a journalist hurled shoes on the president. This happened for the first time in the history of American presidents. Was American action arrogant in Iraq and did the American president go through this trauma as per divine will?

c) During the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the Europeans ruled the world. It was a rule by white people. All the American presidents were also of white origin. But, in the same powerful country Barack Obama was able to become the first black president on the basis of democratically conducted elections. Was it also according to divine will?

d) America is spending heavily in Iraq and Afghanistan for controlling the menace of Taliban and other terrorist groups. Pakistan is its biggest ally in the war against terror. Fund is freely flowing to Pakistan. The truth has started surfacing that Pakistan has utilized the grants for nurturing terrorist activities and the activities of Taliban and other militant groups. Terrorists are targeting areas in Pakistan also. Is Pakistan reaping the harvest?

The four questions raised above relate to the period when Saturn was staying in the Leo sign. Saturn represents the common man. The common man may remain in conflict with the ruler for his arrogant and aristocratic style of functioning. Perhaps, this was the situation prevailing in the world and Saturn was capable of fixing punishments for such misdeeds.

Now, Saturn has moved into the Virgo sign and this House is owned by Mercury. Both Saturn and Mercury are compatible to each other. Virgo is the 6th House in the horoscope of the “Kaal Purusha”. This House is significant for disease, debts, enmity, jobs, etc. Saturn will stay in this House for about two and a half years. Its effects in the coming years may be summarized as follows:

a) New types of diseases may appear which would keep the medical community and the pharmaceutical industry on their toes.

b) Finance management would remain a big problem for almost all counties, during the next two and a half years. The world has still not come out of recession.

c) The financial debt regulations may be redrafted keeping in view the follies exhibited in the past. A world consensus for this would become necessary.

d) Saturn in the 6th House could increase the enmity between some countries. The international relations between countries may not remain cordial for all.

e) People have lost jobs in the turmoil caused by recession. The world economy will recover by the transit of Saturn in the Virgo sign. However, the improvement will be significant after the transit of Jupiter in Pisces from May 2010. People who lost jobs will benefit accordingly.

f) Saturn in the 6th House may affect industrial relationships, negatively. Possibilities of industrial disputes and other disturbances would increase due to discontentment among workers.

The world economy would register positive growth during the stay of Saturn in the Virgo sign. Food supply situation would remain normal and demand for industrial products would increase.
